First of all, I hope you’re staying safe and healthy as we battle this pandemic.

A lot of people are suffering right now–financially with unprecedented job loss and lays offs.  Network marketing and direct sales companies are seeing increasing sales which could help soften the financial blow–if done correctly.

Capitalizing on a ‘recession-proof’ industry

Just because we have to stay home doesn’t mean we shouldn’t wear lipstick.  In fact, it’s more important now to look good,  because we are zooming (video conference) and we need to appear somewhat presentable.

It’s not just lipstick we are buying.  We are buying food and vitamins to keep us going and boosting our immune system.

So while this pandemic is terrible and we didn’t want it to happen,  it showed us that in times of crisis, people need good products more than ever.  People are buying.  Amazon is going bananas trying to fulfill orders.  Business is booming.

So how can you take advantage of this?

  1. If you’re in direct sales or network marketing, this is the best time to connect with people in your circle and let them know you’re thinking about them.
  2. Expand your network. Join networking events. Use social media to reach out to as many people as you can.
