To work as a social media manager, you need to start with making sure that you project a professional image. 

Your job will be to develop your employers brand and engage with their customers or potential customers.

Blog management is the activity of managing someone's blog. Wordpress is the number 1 blog platform, but blogger is also popular. 

For this, you should learn a little bit about wordpress and blogger to get started.  Once you learn the basics, it's pretty much a log in and update kind of job.
