It’s time to experience the richness and luxury of handmade, handcrafted, artisanal soaps.
When I used to hear about handmade soap, I imagined something not so pretty and maybe not as good.
But things have changed in the last few years.
Across Canada, artisans and handcrafters are turning the humble homemade soaps into something beautiful. naturally scented, a luxurious concoction of bars that satisfies the most discriminating palate.
Now, handcrafted and handmade anything is an art!
La Danse de Savons

All her soaps are hand-poured, hand-cut, and can even be made to an individual’s scent preference.
Pavaneāa gentle goat milk soap scented with lavender

This gentle goat milk soap, scented with lavender is both nourishing and soothing as well as cleanses any sensitive skin and dry skin. Inexpensive but luxurious.
At La Danse des Savons, each recipe is different and each soap is made, cut and packaged by hand, resulting in unique soaps.
Our family loves Polly’s soaps! We have some near our kitchen sink, in our bathroom and each of our family members has their own. Some of our favorites: Black Swan, Polka, and plain Castille, scented or unscented. We particularly enjoy how so much of her selection is vegan.
I just love the way that Polly mixed her two passions. Dances and soap. How can you be wrong when you do it that way? Went to a workshop and learned how to make soap. It was really fun.
