I was fortunate enough to be given the OPTIMERA [day and night cream] from Nerium to try by Kelly  Culver.

There’s been a lot of buzz around Nerium launched into Canada and although it was exciting, I have seen a lot of product launch that I didn’t really pay much attention to.

But when Kelly sent me the set, I was curious.  Although I didn’t get to use it right away as I was on vacation, I tried it the moment I got back home.  However, I of course, being too excited didn’t follow the direction. I was suppose to take a before and after picture. I just pulled it out of the box and started using it.

The verdict

The night cream smells awful.  I didn’t like it at all.  I have to be honest, I don’t use perfume at all so I am very particular in using anything that is slightly scented.  Unless it’s either lavender or rose.

The day cream is unscented so it didn’t bother me but the night cream is hard to love.  However, after using for a week, I saw a big difference in the suppleness of my skin.  My usual flaky and rough skin really feels soft and silky every morning.  This is the ONLY reason I continue to use it. The result is really obvious in how my skin feels and look. Finer pores, brighter and soft.

If scent doesn’t bother you, I highly recommend you try it.
